About the Event

Take a half day just for you! Saturday October 23, 2021  10am-1pm. (Rain date-Sunday October 24th)

Enjoy a 60 minute yoga class followed by a long Savasana with sound healing held outdoor at Reservoir Park with 3 different amazing teachers offering something different. Set up your yoga mat 6 feet apart for social distance and melt the stress away.

*10am-10:30am "Warm Up Flow" with Essential Oil Spritz. "Spritz Me"! What? Sheila from Yoga With Sheila K. will guide you through an all levels warm up yoga flow as she walks around with her spritz bottle of "balance" essential oil. This will nudge you to settle in and become present to the moment on your mat. You get to choose if and where you want the spritz. The key phrase will be "Spritz Me".

*10:30am-11:00am "Vigorous Flow" to get out the craziness in the body & mind with April Showman from Cowhouse Sanctuary. You will move from seated to standing poses to build some heat and open up the energy channels. April will guide you to go from stuck to unstuck both physically and emotionally. Her Thai Yoga background and high vibe spirit will offer an amazing energy to transform. Options will be offered by April to take it easy or take it up. Your practice, your choice.

*11:00am-11:30am "Cool Down Yin-Savasana" while enjoying a full Healing Sound Bath. A soundbath is intended to "rinse" over you, giving you a sense of soothing wonder.  With your eyes closed in gentle surrender, Jen from Embodied Intuitive Care will offer sounds you don't typically hear- a handpan, crystal pyramid, koshi chimes and medicine drum.  She will immerse you with healing sound as you chill in resting postures. You will then melt into your final resting shape-Savasana-while nature and sound vibrations renew your spirit and mind. Take this time for YOU and allow the sounds to absord into the body, mind and spirit. Nothing is better to hit that reset button than "stillness".

11:35am-12:05pm Now that you are aware and present let's get in touch with that inner canvas. Leave your mat right where it is. Enjoy "Forest Bathing" as you take a relaxing meditatiive hike thru the park. The hike will be moderate physically but, moving spiritually as anyone who has experienced Megan Riley from Coyote Guides will tell you. You will immediately feel her warmth and love for all of nature! 

12:15pm-1:00pm You will finish your half day making a  "Meditation Mala Bracelet" or wrist mala. Mala is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as “garland.” A mala is a necklace or bracelet of prayer beads commonly used by Yogis to count mantras, prayers, or intentions. A full mala contains 108 counting beads and a wrist mala usually has 27 beads. YOu will feel a sense of pride and happiness after creating your mala and sealing it with your own intention. Take home to enjoy!!
